big trees, new do's, and the 'ville

I was getting the oil changed in my car the other day. I was getting my checkbook out to pay when I read their new policy. Hm... Sometimes I am painfully aware of where I live. I love it!!!

Ps. This is NOT a joke.

This was just a few minutes ago. I was trying to make those disgusting lips. I failed. Bruce is in bed and I'm watching some lame Hallmark Christmas movie. I really want to be in the basement with my family, sitting by the fire, watching Christmas Vacation, wrapping presents...then snuggling.

While at work the other day, I made an impulse decision to cut off my hair. I was sick of having to style it every day when I knew it would just end up in a pony-tail. One of my fellow-stylists cut off about 8 inches. It really needed to go. It was way past time. So here it is! I know I look REALLY happy. I was sitting in the break room at work, alone, taking pictures of myself.

The day after Thanksgiving, Bruce and I went downtown Indy for the tree-lighting. I really enjoy outings such as these. I live for them. It was pretty cold, and very crowded... but so exciting!

Okay, I've been tagged by Niki and Mangs, so, here goes.

1. My favorite number is 80-50-90. (Ask one of my sisters, they could explain it a bit better than I can) and I use to eat hair-balls. I would go around the house searching for hair in the carpet, hair brushes, anywhere I could find it. I would wrap it around my tongue then leave them around the house for my mom to find. I was a sick child. I would take the chewing gum from underneath tables and chairs (in public) and chew it.

2. I want a dog very badly. I will get online and look at pictures of Newfoundlands, Saint Bernards, and Great Pyrenees for HOURS. It's a ridiculous addiction.

3. I, too, am addicted to Target. Monday is my day off from work. On these special days, I will drive to Target just to look around. Even if I have no intentions of purchasing anything, just being in the store is satisfying.

4. I have never been sledding without wetting my pants. I don't know what it is, but it never fails. Well, with the exception of last year. My friend and I went sledding at Forest Park, I made it home dry (BUT my friend didn't).
Ps. My kind sister reminded me that sledding is not the only thing that triggers my bladder, but also, being bound while someone tickles me, laughing hysterically or hacking (ask Natalie).

5. I absolutely hate birds. I cannot stand them. Unless I see one injured, then I feel really sorry for it.

6. I am the ultimate Christmas fan. It's not even just Christmas, I get excited for every holiday. I think I just love traditions. I am having major issues with the stocking situation this year. My mom is retiring the stockings she made for our family (and have used for the past 30 years). This year, it's just not going to be the same. There better be an orange and a lifesaver storybook.

Oh! and I enjoy cooking...

I'm tagging... Liz & Adam Scott, Doogers and Kristen Christensen

It's been a while...

So, Halloween has come and gone, as has Thanksgiving. It's time for a new post! We went to a Pacers game when they hosted the Utah Jazz. We played really well and demolished them. Sorry suckas!!

Thanksgiving was wonderful. We had it with both sides. Bruce and I went downtown for the lighting of the "worlds largest Christmas tree". I forgot my camera in the car so I had to take pictures with my phone and I'm still trying to figure out how I can get them on the blog.

I had the day off today. I had my sister, Brittany and 2 of my nephews over to decorate sugar cookies. The boys did so well! We watched the Polar Express while we worked. It was so much fun.

I was watching videos on youtube and stupidvideos and I came across funny baby. This made me laugh really hard. I don't know if I was just in a mood or if this is really funny. Tell me what you think.

Okay, remember my post "Beau reincarnated?" Well, if you look at the comments, Doug said something about his "sign for Beau." Well, I FOUND THE SIGN!!! Just imagine Beau instead of Toby.

Shad would bring Bruce candy (in the wrapper) and Bruce would shake them. Shad thought it was so funny!

Ali was so nice to share her candy with us!

3rd Trimester

Well, I've finally made it to my third trimester. Those of you who have already had children know what a milestone this is!!! We are getting so excited! Yeah! Yes, I am flashing my buckies.

Okay, okay....

Alright. I just got the look of disapproval from my husband. The last post was a joke. I kid, I kid. Bruce and I went to the Indianapolis 4th Branch's (which is where we met) "Trunk or Treat." We had a lot of fun. It was so fun to see our friends from the branch. Many of them we have not seen for a while. Most everyone was dressed up and this was also fun. It was especially fun for me because I think at least 10 people wondered if I was in costume or if I actually was pregnant. Bruce went as a vampire. It was sort of a last-minute thing. We were not too prepared. Next year we will plan much more in advance. YEAH for Halloween!

Last Sunday, Bruce and I went to Louisville Kentucky to watch my best friend play soccer. Keri has been my best friend for a long time(she was one the the beautiful bridesmaids)! She plays soccer for USI (University of Southern Indiana). This is Keri's Senior year. I have only attended one other game...last year when USI played ISU (Indiana State University)...some friend, right? So, Bruce and I decided to surprise her and attend her game in Kentucky. It was so much fun to see her!! I miss her and can't wait for her to come back home!!

Okay, so you are probably thinking... Neat. We are over you bedroom. But I'm going to post pictures anyway. Sorry! These are different views of our room. We are almost finished with our apartment! Woo-Hoo!
