Shad would bring Bruce candy (in the wrapper) and Bruce would shake them. Shad thought it was so funny!

Ali was so nice to share her candy with us!

3rd Trimester

Well, I've finally made it to my third trimester. Those of you who have already had children know what a milestone this is!!! We are getting so excited! Yeah! Yes, I am flashing my buckies.

Okay, okay....

Alright. I just got the look of disapproval from my husband. The last post was a joke. I kid, I kid. Bruce and I went to the Indianapolis 4th Branch's (which is where we met) "Trunk or Treat." We had a lot of fun. It was so fun to see our friends from the branch. Many of them we have not seen for a while. Most everyone was dressed up and this was also fun. It was especially fun for me because I think at least 10 people wondered if I was in costume or if I actually was pregnant. Bruce went as a vampire. It was sort of a last-minute thing. We were not too prepared. Next year we will plan much more in advance. YEAH for Halloween!

We have just received the pictures from the wedding. They were so fun to go through. It brought back fun memories. Here is a little taste...

Go Keri!!

#5 is on the far left. She made such a beautiful bridesmaid

Keri is the 2nd from the left (#5) #5...Nice boo-tay!

Last Sunday, Bruce and I went to Louisville Kentucky to watch my best friend play soccer. Keri has been my best friend for a long time(she was one the the beautiful bridesmaids)! She plays soccer for USI (University of Southern Indiana). This is Keri's Senior year. I have only attended one other game...last year when USI played ISU (Indiana State University)...some friend, right? So, Bruce and I decided to surprise her and attend her game in Kentucky. It was so much fun to see her!! I miss her and can't wait for her to come back home!!

Progression...

Okay, so you are probably thinking... Neat. We are over you bedroom. But I'm going to post pictures anyway. Sorry! These are different views of our room. We are almost finished with our apartment! Woo-Hoo!

A work in progress

Bruce and I have been working on putting our home together. It is coming along...Bruce is almost finished with the last item for our bedroom. He has put together 2 night stands, and 2 dressers. He's great. I just watch. The next thing we will work on will be our living room and dining area. Pictures to come.

Beau Reincarnated

As most of you know, we had a Cocker Spaniel named Beau. He was a huge part of the Mangus family. He became sick and we had to put him down a few years ago. I came across this picture last night. I'm convinced that Beau is part of another family now.

Back in the Game...

Look at our fun pumpkins! I'm a little proud...

So, apparently I have never posted on my blog. Obviously I have no idea what I am doing. Thanks to a little pressure I am ready to re-commit. A lot has happened in the past few months. July, I created a blog. I had a few wedding showers, worked on the wedding, and played. August, one of my best friends got married. I was able to attend her wedding in the Nauvoo, Illinois temple. It was an incredible experience. The rest of the month I continued to work. I was so excited for September! Family arrived and we were off for Nauvoo on Wednesday September 5th. Bruce and I were married on Thursday in the Nauvoo temple. It was amazing! Everything ran smoothly. I wouldn't have changed one thing! It is now October. I love this time of year!! It is the beginning of the holidays. And I have a whole new appreciation for it. At this time last year, Bruce and I began dating. Last Friday, we went to the punmkin patch with my friend Amanda and her boyfriend Chris. We went through a corn maze, picked pumpkins and bought fresh apples from the apple store. This past Monday we had a Family Home Evening on traditions. We discussed important traditions both of us enjoyed growing up. We made caramel apples and carved the pumpkins we picked out on Friday. We are looking forward to implementing many different traditions into our family. We enjoy spending time together. I have never been so happy in my life.
